The Mercer shop has some fabulous new crafts, prints, jewellery and ceramics in stock which have been inspired by their collections and exhibitions. This series of 12Brownian plates by Yorkshire ceramicist Anna Lambert were inspired by the Capability Brown exhibitions earlier this year, I would very much appreciate finding one of these under my christmas tree!
A glamorous exhibition has just opened at the Royal Pump Room Museum in Harrogate – featuring costumes seen in screen portrayals of the writings of two great female novelists, Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë including the wedding dresses worn by Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet in the 1995 film of Sense and Sensibility, as well as the bridegroom outfits of Hugh Grant and Alan Rickman, many thanks to the The Northern Echo who have run a lovely feature written by Ruth Campbell on this…
Pleased to see that the industrious folks caring for Ripon’s Workhouse Garden have been given a very special award from the RHS. A lovely photograph in the Northern Echo captures their delight!

Starting to get festive very early, just sourced these fairy light graphics for a design project courtesy of Freepik
Busy working on PR to support a really interesting series of photographs by Liza Dracup, who has been inspired by stereoscopic images in the Harrogate Arts and Museums Collection.
